winter is upon us...literally!

I woke up this morning at 5:10 am. It was freezing cold. Ok, it was relatively freezing cold. The last few days have been cold enough to snow, so we cranked the heat and added blankets, that sort of thing. When I awoke I realized that it was a little bit too cold for comfort. I touched the radiator and realized it was ice cold too. No heat. No heat can only mean one thing (besides that it will be really hard to get out of bed...). We were out of gas!!! Whoever thought pay-as-you-go gas was a good idea was not too bright. Or maybe he had just never run out in the middle of a freezing cold january night!! We braved the 6am wake-up call and managed to get out of the house without too much pain. Let's hope tonight is better!!

Oh, I forgot to tell you why I woke up in the first place. I was having a line dancing dream. As in, I was line dancing in my dream. I was calling the steps for the c-c-shuffle. Not the most fun thing to wake up to. And of course I couldn't get it out of my head for the next hour!! Two steps to 2 o'clock, two steps back. Two steps to 4 o'clock, two steps back. One step and back, one step and back. Heel heel toe toe, heel toe point turn! For an hour. In my head. I wish I could just turn my brain off!!!!
